LARAMIE, Wyoming (8/5/25) – The Golf Coaches Association of America released its PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award recipients on Tuesday. The University of Wyoming men’s golf team was honored with President’s Special Recognition.
In order to qualify for Presidents Special Recognition, a team must possess an average team GPA of 3.5 or higher. A total of 74 Division I teams met that threshold.
The Cowboys have garnered the team academic award each of the last 16 years. They open the 2025-26 season at the Ram Masters Invite next month.
