Firefighters were battling a brush fire Saturday, producing heavy smoke in the Montecito Heights area.
The fire was burning uphill near Ernest E. Debs Regional Park. The fire was being driven by 10 to 15 mph winds, according to Brian Humphrey with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No structures were threatened and there were no evacuations at this time, Humphrey said.
The LAFD has aerial and ground support working to put out the flames.
Witnesses reported seeing the flames from Dodger Stadium.
The cause of the fire is still unclear.
