Coca-Cola Co. posted second-quarter sales growth that beat Wall Street expectations as consumers continue to pay higher prices for the company’s soft drinks.

Organic revenue grew 5% in the period ended June 27, above the average analyst estimate, while comparable earnings per share also surpassed expectations. The company said it plans to launch a new Coke product made with U.S. cane sugar this fall.
